OFTC travels to area schools to introduce the work of William Shakespeare. Students of all ages (Pre-kinder through 12th grade) can appreciate the lively antics and sweet words of Shakespeare. Professional actors bring Shakespeare to life right in the classroom!

• Layle Chambers - Artistic Director, Actor, Director
Layle has performed the roles of director, actor, playwright and most recently, dramaturg. She has received numerous awards for performance of such roles as Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Kate in Taming of the Shrew, Lady Macbeth, Cleopatra and Frau Schulz in Cabaret. She holds a BFA and MA in Theatre from Ithaca College and University of Texas at El Paso, studied in London and specializes in Elizabethan and Jacobean performance.
• Larissa Gomez Rollins - Actor, Stage Manager
Larissa is a graduate of Bel Air High School with a BA in Theater / Spanish Minor from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She has performed professionally as an educational actor and academically in such roles as Vibrata in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias, and Mrs. Clackett in Noises Off. Larissa was Assistant to the General Manager of the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival for two seasons. She hopes to combine her educational, work and life experiences to educate young people about the arts.
• Debby Gilbert - Executive Director, Production Manager, Actor
Debby has always enjoyed working on both sides of the stage and is pleased to be part of a company that encourages her to act and do technical theatre! Debby holds a BFA from the University of Arizona. Some of her favorite roles have included Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Lizzie in The Rainmaker and Stage Manager in Our Town. She has also stage managed many productions ranging from Charlotte's Web to Tartuffe to La Boheme. Due to Debby's commitment to children's theatre education, she leads the Teaching/Artists Program and coordinates OFTC's efforts to bring Shakepeare to life in the classroom.
